Checking in on my Tableau visualization and following the markets in general, we see an unprecedented recovery rally in the face of economic turmoil and gathering pandemic devastation in the southern US. I cannot tell you what is driving this recovery besides sheer determination that “this too shall pass”. With a quarter of North America unemployed and businesses going under left and right, I think this market rally is running on fumes and I am preparing for the worst which I expect to hit us in earnest this fall.
We are now tracking on the same path as the pre-crash of 2008 according to my chart.
